Ultrapeel Transderm treatment is performed using Dermoelectroporation® technology. Dermoelectroporation® uses electrical pulses that are controlled in value, time duration and electrical characteristics which the skin can tolerate with no adverse side effects.
These electrical pulses temporarily alter the lipidic components of the cell membrane, forming watery channels in the cellular membrane that opens the pores. These alterations allow the penetration of a large variety of products that would otherwise be prevented from entering the skin.
Dermoelectroporation® technology boosts the transdermal delivery rate to approximately 5 times the rate normally obtainable with a topical application.
